Frequently Asked Questions
Does my child need to know Nepali already?
No. Most beginners start with a handful of words they've picked up at home.
Is there a cost?
[Verify and state the cost plainly. The flyer suggests classes are free — if so, answer "Free." If there's a fee or suggested donation, name the amount.]
We live somewhere with no Nepali community. Can we still join?
Yes. Classes are online. Students join from anywhere in the US, and from outside it too.
What do you ask of parents?
One hour a week keeps a language going only if something happens on the other six days. Speak Nepali at home when you can, and sit with your child for fifteen minutes to run through the week's letters. We'll tell you every week what to practice.
